I chose to include peer review as one of the several turning points within my inquiry project because I felt it was an extremely important part of our development as editor’s. It gave us the opportunity to work with classmates and get their feedback in relation to the research we found. It focused on the positives and negatives of our work which helped a lot in regards to not only improving it, but addressing the strengths of our work also and what we did well. We were in groups based on the similarity of our inquiry topics. This was the best way to work as we could then combine ideas etc. I was in a group of 4 that worked well in the peer reviews and gave insightful feedback. I benefitted from this part of the Making of the Reader’s Guide as I was able to get several different opinions and could take them on board to better my Inquiry project.
